Silver Falls

We took a long weekend, and finally visited "the crown jewel of Oregon State Parks." It was pretty great.

The kids were nice, the campground had the best campground bathrooms any of us had ever seen, the park had some great WPA buildings that I would really like to live in, the weather was lovely... perfect. And we had a great classic state park experience, with a campground full of people from all walks of life. We walked the Trail of Ten Falls, but only made it to eight falls (though we visited two of them twice). They were perfect.
