Time

























We spent some time outside today, and this photo of Skipper in our yard reminded me of a picture of her in our yard at almost exactly the same time of year 11 years ago. Our girl keeps growing.

Nothing to report

 We're still here. Still haven't caught covid, somehow. Spring is taking Portland by storm, and the days feel optimistic again. 

We had to euthanize Momo, the best of our guinea pigs. Her cagemate Miggy is going back to the rescue, because guinea pigs don't like to live alone and we're not willing to take on a new pig. Pets are hard on the heart.











That's about it. Cook has taken on a temporary role at work that is taking up all his bandwidth, but he just has to make it a few more months. The girls had spring break last week, and are now heading into the homestretch of the school year, so all three of them are looking down a long straightaway toward June. (I'm looking to a closer landmark, because I'm heading to Scotland in April for a walking vacation with a friend.) We're all savoring the longer days, and all the decadent flowering...
