We went to the zoo today. It rained. It snowed. However, it was not crowded, and we actually saw more animals out being active than we usually do. And we had astonishing transit luck, waiting for our two buses and two trains for maybe five minutes total, which meant that the kids had no chance to pick up any whining steam. It was a good trip.
