Sticky

We made popsicles yesterday. We're having very summery weather this week, after a week of autumnal weather, and the kids are draining the last drops of summer joy.

At this point, Cook opened the back door and asked me if we should just give sticky Skipper her shower (we do this more or less weekly, because she hates it so much and it's miserable for everybody) instead of wiping her clean. He asked it like this, "Do you think we should go ahead and give her the full monty?" I only knew what he was talking about because he looked so resigned and slightly grim, but Skipper immediately said (suspiciously) "Are you going to give me a shower?" 

And Cook said "Yes," because we try not to lie to the kids too much.

We should probably lie to them more.
