Dutch's list of ailments, last night at bedtime:

• hurting stomach
• tummyache
• headache
• hurting legs
• sore feet

When I sarcastically asked if she had pinkeye again, too, she gave me her best withering look.

Also, I learned last night that Dutch thought the whole baseball game was a performance, like a play, that had been practiced in advance. No wonder she thinks baseball is so boring.
