Iraq Names Project

This project passed through our neighborhood this week, and it was pretty powerful. The artist is chalking the names (in a very, very, very, very long line) of all the coalition dead since the beginning of the Iraq invasion. The names are big and painstakingly chalked, and it's pretty grim to ride the bus past blocks and blocks of names representing just a week or two of death.
