Wrong

Did I say Skipper wasn't interested in interacting with us? Totally wrong. She likes nothing more than looking serenely up into your face and chatting. A sample dialogue goes like this:

Me: Hi, sweetie!
Skipper: Gla.
Me: Gla?
(pause)
Skipper: Aeuhll.
Me: Oh? That's nice.
Skipper: Gla!
Me: Um. What's going on?
Skipper: Heuhl.
Me:I see.

She likes to talk more than Dutch did, and she really seems to think that we are actually talking.
